1. Overview
At The Distinctive Citizen, every piece has lived a story before finding its way to you. Each jacket, belt, and accessory is hand-picked, cleaned, and photographed with care to ensure what you see is what you get.
Because our garments are pre-loved and one-of-a-kind, we encourage you to read all descriptions and check sizing details carefully before purchasing — once an item is gone, it’s generally the only one of its kind, so alternative sizes or replacements may not be available.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, if you’re not completely satisfied, we’re happy to offer an exchange for another item of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. Each situation is reviewed individually to ensure a fair outcome.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from the product description, we’ll make it right.

3. Condition of Returns
For any approved returns:

Items must be in the same condition you received them — unworn, unaltered, and with any original packaging or tags intact.

Returns must be shipped back within 14 days of approval.

Return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was faulty or incorrectly sent.

5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.
